CHI’s 9th Birthday!!

Just before I leave to Okinawa, CHI Massage Therapy is having a 9 year birthday party! Some of you have watched me and CHI grow from the very beginning. Some of you had even got to see me gain knowledge and skills at school before CHI Massage Therapy was even an idea. It has been an amazing 9 years and I would love to say thank you to every one of you, who have supported me for so long, even if it was just the last 6 months, by throwing this party. If you don’t know me well, you have to come and, at least, get to know Olivia and Eric (more about them below).

Details of the party may change as we get closer to the date, but you can find it here, or it will be in my newsletters. If you have a QR code to this blog and do not get my newsletters, check back in as we get closer to the date, I will update as we get closer. Scroll down to The Plan for updates.

Because space is limited in my practice, I will be holding this party at FlickerMill Candles. There will be a newsletter introducing them in January. Eric and Olivia, owners of FlickerMill Candles have become very close friends of ours. We met them not too long ago, but they are wonderful people and like minded to me and Josh. They also have a Yoga practice that can be used with or in place of my massages. I say this because the focus is to help you respond to your own trauma. Their target markets are first responders and military, however, for those who are neither a first responder or military have traumas as well.

I have done their yoga and I love it, but it says something when my husband says he loves it too. He has never done yoga and was apprehensive about it, but after hearing what they had to say about it and tried it out of curiosity, he kept it up ever since. At least twice a week. I will have a list of other massage therapists for you along with (hopefully) newly trained massage therapists at CHI, with new owners, but this would be an amazing additional care or a replacement to massage.

I highly recommend and would love to take this opportunity to introduce them to you. You MUST ask them about their other little businesses as well! You thought I was busy? Meet these two!!!

CHI’s party will be held at their location. If you google FlickerMill Candles, it will show on google maps. But if not here is the address:

FlickerMill Candles
Address: 10301 Comanche Rd NE, Suite 35
It is in between a tattoo parlor and a donut and coffee place (also recommend!).

Date and Time: April 26th, 10 - 4

The Plan

All plans will be listed here. This will change periodically, so it may not say the same thing as the last time you read this.

The plan… We are still planning this out. Nothing is definite as of right now, but we will keep you posted through my newsletters and of course in person, if you are seeing me. As of right now, the following is what is being planned.

We will have food and refreshments available. If you want coffee and/or donuts, you can get that next door, but they close at 3.

We will also have gifts for visitors, but only as supplies last.

I will also be involving a book launch! Actually, for 3 books. The first two I wrote and I am on a third one right now. I plan on finishing my third book by April. I will do a book signing that day. This book is still on the miscarriage, but it is not specifically for supporting miscarriage experiences. This one is for story purposes. Life was happening, pregnancy then the miscarriage, but ‘life’ is still happening around me. This will be the full story of what was happening day to day during the pregnancy, the miscarriage, the postpartum and the after. Here is a link to all of my books, they are sold on Amazon.

Eric, owner of FlickerMill Candles, also wrote a book and we decided to do a launch together, on the day of the party. Here is a link to his book on Amazon.

I hope I see you all there! Even though I am leaving to Okinawa, I would still love to meet new people. That way I have people to see when I visit! And who knows what kind of collaboration can happen despite the distance we will have between us! That kind of relationship is already happening to me and I am super grateful and cannot wait for the collaboration to start!
